Belt Rank Curriculum & Media Series Karate offers a systematic method of student development and progress measured by colored belts. All-City Karate's instructors will guide the willing student through the intense training required to achieve the rank of "black belt." When the student has trained and learned properly all the required material by attending class on a regular basis and has demonstrated the proper attitude, skill and rank requirements needed to attain the next level, then the student will receive *at any time* a test notice with all of the required information and testing fee. Instruction Series Yellow Belt - 8th KYU Yellow Belt - The Yellow belt is a beginner rank that will introduce you to the fundamentals of Karate and will help you to achieve better physical conditioning. Curriculum Rank Requirements      Kata Heian Shodan (For video click the icon on right.)      Orange Belt - 7th KYU Orange Belt - The Orange belt level begins to create and develop speed and power in your kicks and punches and teaches you to block and counter punch with amazing effectiveness. Curriculum Rank Requirements      Kata Heian Nidan (For video click icon on the right.)      Blue Belt - 6th KYU Blue Belt - This is the first intermediate rank in Karate. By this point in your training, you will notice a tremendous improvement in your confidence level and your physical abilities. You will notice that your confidence will have increased by this time. You are now well on your way to becoming a Black Belt. At this level you will make the transition from an intermediate to an advanced Martial Artist. You may be asked to become a S.T.O.R.M. ( Special Team Of Role Models ) Member.
